Merry Little Christmas to you from Pebbles | Niki Rowland
Hey everyone, this is Niki here with you today and I have two layouts to share using Pebbles Merry Little Christmas collection.
I was drawn to this collection becuase of the fun elements, characters and icons. I had the 12×12 papers, Die Cut ephemera Icons and the 6×12 Cardstock Stickers.
For my first layout today I just had to use the ‘Counting Down’ paper. I just loved the house with all the advent windows. Advent calendars are a big deal in our house and this year my daughter had a very special home made advent calendar filled with fabulous surprises. I trimmed down the paper and carefully trimmed around the top of the house. I then stuck the background to a piece of white cardstock, raising up the house on foam pads to give it some dimension.
I carefully cut around some of the windows and filled them with little stickers. I added my photo at the botton and created clusters of fussy cut trees on either side of the layout. The fussy cut trees came from a sheet of Pinkfresh Studio paper.
I added some gold thread to the layout as well as some festive glittery stars. I also painted the roof of the house with silver glitter paste.
For my second layout ‘Baa’ I documented the story of my little boy being a sheep in his school Nativity play. I created a big strip of torn patterned paper across the layout together with my photo. I then used loads of tags from the cut-apart sheet. I cut them all up and tied them together with pom pom trim.
I used loads of the ephemera on this layout – there were a few nativity themed pieces so they had to go on here of course. I also added lots of stickers and some gold twine.
I finished off this layout with some more stars and also some Pinkfresh Studio enamel dots. I also handwrote in my journaling and added my title using pink Thickers.
Thanks so much for joining me today, I hope you have enjoyed these two festive layout using Pebbles Merry Little Christmas Collection.
Happy scrapping xx
