Memory Planning with Cocoa Vanilla Midnight
Hi Everyone, I hope you are all having a nice weekend. I am here today to share with you some more of my memory planner spreads with you. I am about a month behind but I still enjoying this way of documenting my everyday life and will continue this way next year.
I am using the Heidi Swapp Fresh Start Memory Planner which is in a lovely gold glitter. I have shared my opinions on this planner in my previous posts, but I really can not recommend it enough.
For the 3 planner spreads I am going to be sharing with you today, I have used the Cocoa Vanilla Midnight collection. I really love the navy and pink tones that are in this collection. I have just used the embellishments and a cut -a-part sheet from this collection. I really like that this has clear stickers in this collection, as I have really enjoyed using these in my planner. I love how these layer with watercolours behind them.
For my first spread, I decided to focus on the navy tones of the collection, which I layered with my pearlescent watercolour from my stash.
I really love the die-cut pack of the titles and I thought these were a fun addition to my spread, and to help prompt the journaling.
For my second spread, I look more at the purple and pinks in the collection and used more bits from the die-cut pack.
The cute illustration of the girl in this collection is lovely and whimsical and I just needed to add this tag to my page. I really like to use die-cuts to fill weeks where I may not have taken as many photos, and this was perfect.
My final spread to share with you I focused on the pink and peach tones of the collection. I really love this tone, and I must use it more in my memory planer.
I used the beautiful colour swatch clear stickers to layer over my watercolour pieces and I love the dimension it gives the pages. I have struggled to give the spread a nice dimension without adding depth to the pages, as I want to keep this planner as thin as possible.
I hope you have enjoyed seeing how you can take just part of the collection and use it with you planner spreads. I also have enjoyed deconstructing the collection into its separate colours to make 3 spreads that look very different.
Have a good month and I will see you next month.
