Market Square – Maggie Holmes | Jo Boland
Hey, it’s Jo, back with another project using the Market Square collection by Maggie Holmes. Last time I shared a cute desk calendar and this time I have a scrapbook layout.
I used the Memoir paper for my background which I trimmed down to 11 x 11″ square. This was backed on to the b-side of the On The Farm paper. I gutted the middle of this paper rather than using the whole sheet and used some of the cut out to back the photos with.
In the photo cluster I also used a piece of the Flower Shop paper (birds) and the Big Magic paper too. Tucked into the layers of these papers are acetate pieces from the ephemera pack and a tag cut from the Lovely Day paper. This tag has hidden journaling on it and can be pulled out. I created a pocket behind the photo cluster to house the tag. The journaling goes into detail about the photos on the page, whereas the journaling on view talks about the title – Favourite Things.
Around the photo cluster I have added a chipboard building sticker, a camera ephemera piece that I’ve popped up on foam pads. I would not be without foam pads, love adding dimension. The journaling label has been cut from the Lovely Day paper.
I’ve used a couple of Hey Little Magpie exclusive products on my layout. The flair badge set is called Typewriter Sentiments and you get 10 in the pack. You can find a huge selection here. My title Favourite Things is a JD3D Print in gold, the colour goes so well with this collection. You can find all of JD3D Print items here.
You can find the Market Square collection here. Thanks for stopping by, see you next month!
