A Very Merry London Penguin Hunt

This month I am using Pink Fresh Studio, Paige Evans Very Merry Christmas collection, for my first layout I am documenting a wonderful day in London searching out the Penguin statues in the Fleet Street Quarter.

I chose to use multiple photos as we saw so many penguins on the day, having positioned the photos, I created two photo mats using a patterned paper from the collection. I then chose the Snowflake 12×12 paper and tore off a strip about 3 ” wide which I positioned on the left side of the page, I tucked a second thinner torn strip under the edge of the snowflake paper. I placed the larger photo mat under the torn edge across the page, I then positioned the second photo mat over the larger strip of torn paper. I then added ephemera along the edge including the cute little penguins!

Around the edge of the larger photo mat I added some tags and tabs and a little more of the ephemera to embellish.

Finally I added a background of stencilling around the edges of the photos, and a title using Doodlebug Alphabet Soup letters.
