Manchester Museum | Pebbles – Cool Boy
Hello Magpies, Amy here with another layout using the bright and fun collection called “Cool Boy” by Pebbles.
Manchester Museum
For this layout I went Dinosaur crazy using lots of the dinosaur icons from the collection with some photos that I took on a visit to Manchester Museum last summer.
I started my layout by trimming down a 12×12 white cardstock by half an inch in both height and width. I then added it to the lovely diagonal multicoloured striped paper called “Ephemera“. This is one of my favourite ways to use diagonal patterned paper. It creates such a great border to the whole page.
I used some of the scraps that I had left from my previous layout to a block of layered colours onto which to place my two photos. I tore some of the bottom edges of the longer pieces of paper for added texture and inked the rest of the edges in Black Soot distress ink.
I raised my top most photo off the page with some foam pads to add a bit of dimension and then for fun I added a bit of yellow pompom to the left edge of the photo. I added three large dinosaur die cuts to form a triangle around my photos. Aren’t they just the most fun and friendly dinos you’ve ever seen!
I added some more of the ephemera icons around the layout. I used the trees and the Discover banner. I added a few stickers from the 6×12 sticker sheet as well.
I created my title by using 6 different colours of the Florence alphabets by Bella Blvd. You will notice I used these a lot. But I think they look extra cool mixing up the colours and I will be doing this again for sure! This title finished off my layout perfectly. Such a bright and cheery fun layout to document a great day out.
Thank you for looking at my layout in more details. I have one more layout to share with you in a few days time using this collection. Until then, Take Care,
