Make A Wish Webster's Page collection
Hello again, Jackie here, and this month I’m using one of the new collections by Webster’s Pages – Make A Wish. Now I don’t normally like all of the collection by Webster’s Pages but this, I love and the other collection called Painted Passport is just as nice, which I’m planning to use our upcoming Design Team Retreat and will share on my personal blog.
So using the Webster’s Pages – Make a Wish collection, I decided to use some of the photographs from James 18th party earlier this year. As I wasn’t taking any photos on the night I had to rely on the guest to share, so some of the photos are not great, but I’ve used them as I wanted to document the evening with good photographs as well as not so perfect ones. Even seeing them here, they are not perfect but they are a true documentation of the evening.
I did these layouts as 9 x 12 as that is the size of album I will be using to document his party and 18th birthday.
Make A Wish
For my first layout I cut out balloons, using my cameo from the Webster’s Pages – Make A Wish Decoration paper and backed them with 2 cut apart pieces, from each of the paper – Webster’s Pages – Make A Wish 365 and Webster’s Pages – Make A Wish Enjoy Life papers. I added the title using the alphabets from the Webster’s Pages – Make A Wish Sticker Sheet to one of the balloon shapes, and added 3d foam to the backs of the cut off and inked the edges, I used the b side of Webster’s Pages – Make A Wish Eat Cake paper as the background.
I layered two 3×4 photographs onto black cardstock, and used some of the patterned papers underneath, using both sides of the Webster’s Pages – Make A Wish Soiree paper. Then I used several stickers from the small sticker sheets around the page (links to these at the bottom of this post).
You are Worth it All
My 2nd layout I just choose the blue tones of paper that came with this collection, they went so well with this photograph of James.
For the background I used the b-side of Webster’s Pages – Make A Wish Wrapper paper, and I selected one the cut apart sheets to use as my title. I then layered the photograph onto the Webster’s Pages – Make A Wish Soiree, Decoration and Sending Wishes paper.
stamped some words on to a selection of the papers and cut out and placed around the photograph.
I finished the with some of the stickers, wood veneer* and puffy stickers, a HLM flair badge, adding a few die cut stars from the Decoration and Sending Wishes papers.
- I found these lovely collection of wood veneer in the Becky Higgins section – Instax Mini Compatibles and just cant get enough of them, expect to see them on all my layouts till I run out.
My final page is a pocket page, which just show some of the things around the hall (apologies for the glare from the page protectors).
I used a selection of the cut a-part sheets and use some of the mini alphabets and added a few simple embellishments to finish the pages off.
I hope you like how I’ve used this collection, and that you can see yourself using it for some of your birthday / party photographs.
Have a good day,
