Magical Memories | Julie Taylor

Hello Magpies, Julie back with you today sharing my first July DT layout. I choose to use Elle’s Studio Magical Memories collection as having just come back from Disney I have copious amounts of photos to scrap & thought this would get me creating!!

My daughter & her boyfriend made full use of the photo pass & had lots of photos taken & this one is meeting the main mouse himself!!

I started by adding stamped words, in different colours of oxide inks, to gessoed cardstock using the title builder vol 6 simply magic stamp. I grouped these, over the page, & then ‘bled’ the ink with some water, giving it a washed look.

Once dry I cut 4 triangle pieces, from the paper stack, distressed the edges & added them, along with some machine stitching, to the left hand edge.

I then built my clusters, around my photos, at the tips of the triangles, using fussy cut papers, ephemera & puffy stickers.

My title is a JD3D print embellishment & also comes with the added stars to further enhance your page. I’ve added a vellum word below the title to extend it.
