Magic Memories with Echo Park | Jo Boland
How about a Halloween themed collection in hot August? It would seem completely strange except that I’m documenting a trip on a very hot July day back in 2014! I’ve made a mini-book ‘Magic Memories’ about our trip to the Warner Bros Studio – The Making of Harry Potter. I’ve been waiting a long time for the perfect collection, well that and I just never got around to it! We went for my youngest son’s 9th birthday, he has just turned 15!
The Echo Park Witches & Wizards collection is actually perfect for documenting anything to do with Harry Potter. You’ll see what I mean when you see the pages in my mini-book. I ordered the 12 x 12 Paper Pack and the Frames & Tags Die-Cut Ephemera Pack. In addition to this I used some cardboard and two 1.5″ book rings from my stash, plus double-sided tape, tape runner, foam pads and my trusty crop-a-dile. The pages and covers are 4″ square, with the exception of three fold out pages which are 7 3/4″ wide. Most of the little bits added are from the die-cut pack with the exception of a few fussy cut pieces from the papers.
OK, enough of the waffling, here’s the mini-book ‘Magic Memories’, it’s a chunky one!
Thanks for stopping by, I’ll be back later in the month with some scrapbook layouts using the collection.
PS. I have set this months challenge over on the Facebook Group – Hey Little Magpie Chat & Inspiration. You could win 1000 Magpie Points, that’s worth £10 to spend in the store. You can find all the details in this blog post here.
