Lullaby Love – Pebbles

Hi there x Sheena here again x
This month I’ve chosen to create with a paper range I’ve not used for a long time & to be honest I don’t know why not – Pebbles. I loved the delicate colours & animal characters in the Lullaby paper range and have 3 pages to share with you using them.
Baby Girl
First off I have a really simple page to share with you featuring my daughter quite a few years ago now. Using Lullaby baby girl posies paper as my background I added off white cardstock on top. I matted my photo using paper from the Lullaby 6×6 pad. When I opened the Lullaby Girl Ephemera I wanted to use all of it on one page but in the end settled on a selection which were pink & green. Using a cut part sheet from the 6×6 pad I was able to include my daughter age & I had to add the bunnies as they are so cute.
To add some interest I machine sewed some of the Lullaby ephemera down & raised others on foam pads before finishing with a silhouette cut word to finish my title.
Happy Boy.
I think most of us have bath time photos of ourselves or children & the Pebbles Lullaby just duckie paper is perfect for these.
I used the Lullaby baby boy blossoms paper as my base then machine stitched white cardstock over after punching the edge and adding yellow ink using the packaging technique. The large letters in the Lullaby boy ephemera pack spell baby as used on the page above so I hand cut an O from paper in the 6×6 pad to make my title before adding a Hiedi Swapp  gold acetate word and a gold monogram letter from Crate paper.
I used the yellow stars to frame the photo which was layered on patterned papers from the Lullaby 6×6 pad & white tissue paper for a soft feel. I loved the puffy stickers and these nappy pins are just so cute.
At this point I realised I’d made 2 young baby pages so I wanted to make a more grown up child page and the inspiration came from the ephemera pack.
We’re going on a Bear Hunt…
Using the reverse of the Lullaby baby boy quotes paper as my base I gathered patterned papers in shades of blue and green to layer behind my 2 photos.  All the leaves, flowers & animals came from the ephemera pack and sticker sheet and are perfect to retell the story of our walks in the woods when my children were smaller.
To add to the Bear Hunt theme I added paw prints using enamel dots.
This Pebbles Lullaby range is well worth a look as you can buy only pink or blue supplies if you prefer & the ephemera in particular was my favourite buy.
Till next time x
