Lucky Us | Pink Paislee

Hey Mapgies! I hope you’re weathering the storms. It’s a good excuse to stay in and scrap! I’ve been doing just that with the Lucky Us collection from Pink Paislee. The collection has a bright mix of pinks, reds and a drop of teal for good measure.

Paper #10 is perfect background paper – patterned but not overpowering. I laid some Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink onto the background before stamping to add some interest and depth.

The photos are mounted on to the pretty papers – #4 and #8 The ephemera pack has lots of cute elements which I layered behind and around my photos. 

I dotted in the Lucky Us puffy stickers here and there.

Better Together

The colours and designs are also great for female layouts. I used stamps, inks and stencils to add some pattern to white card stock. I then hand cut some triangles out of the various patterned papers.

The Lucky Us cardstock stickers and die-cuts are great for layering and adding a little fun. Although it’s a little hard to see, the horseshoe has a lovely pearlescent finish which is so pretty.  I also added a few puffy stickers from Pink Paislee’s Truly Grateful collection.

Although this is a Valentine’s collection there are lots of great patterns, designs that work well with all sorts of themes. I hope that I have inspired you with this collection.
