Love You Forever – Simple Stories – Remember – Wendy Meffan

Hi Everyone! It’s Wendy here and I’m excited to share my first layout for February using the gorgeous Remember Collection by Simple Stories. This collection leans more towards remembering loved ones, but as soon as I saw its gorgeous colours I knew it would be perfect to document my Nephew’s Wedding.

Although I am using Simple Stories Remember Collection, I recalled I had a piece of 12×12 card stock from 49 and Market  Spectrum Sherbet Collection which would make the perfect background. I decided to use this and created the layout over the pre made back ground. I machine stitched over the orange circle several times to add some texture. I trimmed the card stock down so I could add a border  I created from gutting  the 12×12 Sweet Memories paper. i then machined stitched around the edge of this. I used a 4″ square photograph which I matted on the grey paper from the 6×8 paper pad. I distressed the edges and raised the photo on sticky fixers. I used a film strip rub on under the photo and cut an edge piece using a lace border punch. I attached the Forever foam sticker over the top.

I attached this under the photo. I used the frame from the Bits and Pieces which I cut in half and tucked under the border strip, I embellished it with some flowers from the Floral Bits and Pieces along with a decorative brad. I then created a floral cluster to the right of the photo and added two fussy cut butterflies.

Above the photo I created another larger floral cluster using the Floral Bits and Pieces. I then added the Love foam sticker over the top, attached another butterfly and a decorative brad.

I just loved this layout so much and it came together quite quickly as everything coordinated so well.
