Living Our Best Life – 49 and Market Vintage Artistry Everywhere – Wendy Meffan

Hi Everyone! it’s Wendy here sharing my last layout for May using the gorgeous 49 and Market Vintage Artistry travel Collection. I have taken another different approach as I wanted to use multiple photos for this layout. I love banners and tags and pockets so decided to create mini version and make a grid layout with them. I used the 12×12 bright Pilgrimage paper as a background.

I trimmed the 12×12 patterned paper and added a white card stock border to give more dimension. I hand cut several banners and pocket shapes in different papers from the collection, I distressed all the edges and I then punched holes so I could add eyelets to attach them along a string.Then I started arranging the banners and pockets into rows to make a grid effect.

I cut four photos from our travels and created the banners shape with them too, to add into the rows. I then embellished each banner and pocket individually with the elements from the Cluster kit and fussy cut some pieces from the embellishment sheet in the 6×8 pack. I added faux stitching around each pennant and outlined the photos in white pen.

You can see a co ordinating flair badge created by Sarah to match the collection, (there are several different sets on the website)  I used the Flair Everywhere Map set.

Behind the pennant and pockets I used some travel stamps on the background paper with stazon ink.

Each pennant and pocket has a slightly different embellishment on it, I wrapped some waxed string around one and added some mini die cut tags as well as sing the Wishing Bubbles and Baubles epoxy stickers.

I love this layout and enjoyed cutting photos to match the shapes which is not something I normally choose. Do search out this collection, it is so versatile and can be used in so many different ways due to all the wonderful elements in it.
