Live Life Happy Part 2 | Giselle Homer
Hello again Magpies,
I have two more layouts to share today using this fun collection from American Craft’s Pebbles.
The first layout came together quite quickly. I started by cutting two vertical strips to form a border on the right side of the base cardstock. Then I backed my photo with white and a coloured paper, which I glued into position over the edge of the border and slightly off centre.
I wanted a repeating shape to run along the border so I cut some hearts in various shapes and colours. I put some on foam pads to raise them from the base.
There are lots of stickers in this collection so I added some in between the hearts, along with some enamel dots.
Once again, I chose to type my journalling and cut it into strips to place on the left of the photo. I added some more stickers here and there with some concentrated around the journalling. I drew a double border on three sides of the base to finish it off.
For my second layout I began by trimming a piece of white cardstock, which I glued onto the multi coloured stripy paper. It matched my photos so well!
I back filled the cut file with two different papers and then trimmed my photos to fit behind the three frames. Once again, I added lots of stickers in between the photos and around the edges.
I added a title with an alphabet from my stash and placed two more stickers to the right with even more enamel dots. A layout’s not finished until it has enamel dots!
If you want to do some quick layouts of babies or toddlers, with lots of colour and variety, this is the collection for you.
Until next month, happy scrapping everyone.
