Life Noted – Keeping it Simple
Another fabulous release from Pinkfresh Studio – Life Noted. I am LOVING their style. These papers are bold, fresh and adaptable to just about any occasion you want.
It’s been challenge to get these layouts together this month though – I’m scrapping one armed at the moment – got my shoulder strapped up and it’s pretty unusable – but it hasn’t stopped me having great fun with this collection.
I adore papers with BIG BOLD Titles. The lines on this sheet of paper – Awesome – leant themselves to interspersing with some journaling and I cut out the ‘LIFE” title from the paper called – This Life – and raised it up here and there to give it a bit of as 3D look.
I couldn’t resist getting several of the embellishment packs in the collection – the acetate die cut words, foil stamped wood stickers, foiled epoxy stickers and the gold accent chipboard stickers. Last time I looked they were all still in stock – go take a peek !
Now I’m not normally into pastels but these re-define the term because they are oh so pretty and not washed out the way some pastels can be but beautifully vibrant. I cut apart some strips from the sheet of Pick up Sticks paper and re-layered it criss cross fashion. The foiled epoxy stickers were perfect for the intersections filled with some of the foil stamped stickers and the gold accent chip stickers. I plan to go back when I can write again ( it would be my right arm wouldn’t it ! ) and journal in between the gaps as there’s a great story behind the photo which shouldn’t go untold !
Lastly a very simple layout featuring a cluster of squares cut from the Checker Board Paper and a simply matted photo with some of the other papers which complement the colours.. I view this sheet as a bargain pack of die-cuts ( 80p for 64 in total ) you just have to cut them out yourself !
Some are raised on foam dots and again , I’ve interspersed them with the foil stamped wood stickers, and epoxy stickers from the collection.
I have loads left over so I’m looking forward to using them again for next month’s post along with some of the stamps from this fabulous collection.
