Life is Good – Heidi Swapp – Sun Chaser – Wendy Meffan

Hi Everyone! It’s Wendy here with my first layout for June and I am using Sun Chaser Collection by Heidi Swapp. It is another gorgeous Summer Collection full of pastel shades, perfect for Summer photos.

I chose the 12×12 Sun Burst paper and cut it up into all its separate pieces, I then took away every alternate one and distress the edges of the remainder. I attached them using sticky fixers in their original positions onto white card stock. I then outlined each piece using a white pen.

For my selection from the collection this month I had chosen the 12×12 Happy Place paper  which was a cut apart sheet on one side. I duly cut it all up into its elements and then chose the large telegram card as a background for the photos. Again I distressed the edges and used fixers to adhere it to the layout. On this sheet it also had Life is What You Make It 3×4 journalling card and an office type Journal card. I distressed their edges and placed them either side of my photo which I had positioned centrally.

I had also chosen the Ephemera with Rose Gold Foil and picked out some pieces I wanted to use on the layout including tabs, fruit, clouds and enjoy the now phrase. I added these to both sides of the photo and also above. I also added some puffy stickers to embellish.

Along the strips of paper I added word phrases from the Definition stickers.

Finally I added Life is Good from the Puffy Phrase stickers as a title and used white gesso for splatters over the layout.

I was pleased with this layout at the end and it has a wonderful summery feel to it which portrays the photo itself.
