Let’s Wander – Vicki Boutin | Sheena Rowlands

Over the coming month I will be sharing with you layouts created with one of my favourite recent ranges Lets Wander designed by Vicki Boutin for American Crafts.

For my first layout I didn’t want to make a traditional travel layout but instead show how versatile this Lets Wander range can be. Since Lockdown started my Daughter decided to keep herself busy & started designing and making clay earrings. Over the past weeks this business has grown with nearly 1K IG followers & her making and posting parcels regularly. I wanted to document her success as part of our Lockdown story.

All Packed.

I started by cutting envelopes from the Fly Away With Me 12×12 & 6×8 patterned papers. Using white cardstock as my base, I lightly inked through a mask a road map effect. Over this I stuck most of the envelopes in a grid type format on foam pads.

Using the envelope form the Lost in Paradise patterned paper I layered up my photo with a little Beach Vibe patterned paper. I adhered this all on foam pads creating a pocket from the right of the envelope to hold tags to take all my journalling. I turned 2 of the envelopes in the grid pattern into mini photo albums showcasing some of the earrings that had been custom made.

The layout was finished with some paper planes also from the reverse of the Fly Away with Me patterned paper to show how these parcels have been sent all over the UK, Ireland & even to the USA!!
