Let’s Wander | Vicki Boutin – Let’s Wander | Jackie Ashton

Hey Magpies, Jackie here, I hope you are all keeping well in this current situation.  I am sharing another layout using the lovely Vicki Boutin – Let’s Wander collection.

For this layout I used  the collection for an actual travel layout, and another one for my New York album.

Let’s Wander

I choose the background paper from the 12×12 mixed media pad, which as a lovely collection of pre-made background paper.  Which are ideal if you are not confidence in making your own mixed media background.

In the pad this paper is vertical, but I decided to turn it on the horizontal, so the details was on the bottom of the page instead.

To add some extra details I added some texture paste using the star stencil from Vicki Boutin – Let’s Wander – StarStruck stencil set, once this was dry I lightly colours a few of the star to match the green on the background paper.  I used Distressed Oxide ink – Cracked Pistaschio.

I backed my photographs with patterned paper from the Vicki Boutin – Let’s Wander 6×8 pad.

I kept the layout very simple and added a few embellishments from the Ephemera pack and a few stars from the Mixed Embellishment pack.

I added some word strips from the Chipboard Phases & Accent Thickers.

For my title I used a word piece from the Ephemera pack.
