Let's Travel – Carta Bella

This new collection from Carta Bella is full of adroable images for all sorts of destinations.

My first layout is about a trip to London – I love the retro feel to designs. The little buses and scooters are just too cute!

I used a stencil to create a sunburst effect. As it was only a small stencil
so I had to extend it by masking with washi tape.
Outlining the sunbeams with grey pen helps to give the sunburst definition.

I inked the London sykyline cut file using Distress Oxide Inks (Broken China and Peacock Feathers). I then stamp randomly to add a bit of texture

I fussy cut more elements from the Places to Go paper and Tourist Class. How cute are the little London buses?!
I layered up the adorable die-cuts and stickers at wonky angles for a bit of fun.

My next layout is also about a trip in the UK. Julie Taylor and I had recently travelled to York for a teaching assignment. We decided to spend our evening crafting. That meant bringing one or two supplies!

This photo really made us laugh because of the number of bags we had for 1 night!

The super-cute suitcases on the Bon Voyage paper is crying out to be fussy cut. I layered them up into large stacks. I added the cute baggage tag from the chipboard phrases set to finish off the stack. I also created a sign post using the stickers, chipboard and die-cuts.

I’ve had so much fun playing with this collection. I have another two layouts to share later this month. Thanks for stopping by.
