Let’s Travel – Carta Bella | Jackie Ashton

Morning Magpies, Jackie here with my first blogpost for this month.  I’m still in the process of getting my New York 2019 photographs scrapped.  I’m not a one themed album person, I normally start with a a collection and then add various collections throughout my albums.

For both my mini albums and the 12×12 album I am using Carta Bella – Lets Travel collection , as my main collection.

Decided to use a A4 print of the Statue of Liberty – so the page came together really quickly.

Using the b-side of Planes paper I added the photographs to the left hand side and added a small cluster to the bottom right-hand side with an additional 2 smaller photographs.

I added a small matt of patterned papers underneath the photographs, and added stickers and chipboard from this range around this cluster.

I used an acrylic word from Elle’s Studio for my title.

 

Yummy Treat

Using a 5 inch strip of the b-side of Just Landed paper , I added to the lower part of my cardstock.

Using two photographs I added some patterned papers behind each and added to my layout.  

For the journalling block I stamped Elle’s Studio – The Details stamp , and added to the side of my photographs.

The title I used Elle’s studio – Large Jane Alphabet Metal dies, I die cut two sets – one in black cardstock and the other the same patterned paper at the base of the page, added the together so that the black appeared like a shadow underneath the pattern paper.

I finished the layout with a few brads and chipboard pieces from this collection and some stamped words from Elle’s Studio Phase Stamp sets here and here.  The stamp sets for the Let’s Travel collection also as some lovely little phases here and here.

This is lovely travel collection and will work fine with any holiday destination.
