Let's Party by Echo Park
Hi crafters, Jackie here with the first posting for this month, using the fab celebration collection from Echo Park – Let’s Party. It such a bright collection to use to get some of your birthday or celebration photographs scrapped.
A few years ago we had afternoon tea at the Ritz to celebrate Sheena’s 50th, as you can imagine I have loads of photographs from the day, so I decided I would do a main page and add a pocket page with a selection of photographs.
I kept the page very simple and stated by adding a 10 x 6 piece of Echo Park – Lets Party – Cupcake Celebration paper, with a piece of Echo Park – Lets Party – Make a Wish paper to the top which I border punched.
Then using Echo Park – Lets Party – 6×6 pad I added various papers underneath my two photographs, adding 3D form under each photograph to give some added dimensions.
I even fussy cut a few ‘party hats’ and stamped stars and balloon around the page from the Echo Park – Lets Party stamp.
For my next layout I used photographs for our celebrating another friends birthday, I just had to document these photographs.
I started the page by distressing my cardstock using Oxide Inks – Squeezed Lemonade, in the centre using the packaging technique. I added details using the stencil over the yellow in worn lipstick and cracked pistachio, and added some stamped details using the stamp set
I added patterned papers from the 6×6 pad underneath each photograph, placing each layer at a slight angle, and cutting a frame in half to add to either side of the each photograph to give it another layer.
I decided that the bottom of the pages needed some stamping, so I stamped several images onto various patterned papers and cut them out, adding some 3d form to a few of them to give them added dimension.
Happy Birthday to Us
I added three strips of patterned papers to the top of my cardstock, and torn the bottom edges of each.
Using a 3×3 size photograph I added some 3d form underneath and added to a section of patterned papers from the 6×6 pad. Adding die cuts from the collection, and a few stamped, which I fussy cut and added to the page.
If you have this collection, please share on our Facebook page we would love to see what you have created.
Thats me for now,
