Hello Magpies,

There’s something so special about capturing a weekend escape in a scrapbook layout, and a recent Dublin adventure felt like the perfect match for the *It’s Time to Travel* collection. I wanted this page to feel full of movement and direction, echoing both the journey and the energy of the city itself.

I started by trimming white cardstock down to 11×11 and layering it onto patterned paper to create a framed effect. Instead of my usual machine stitching, I switched things up by stamping an arrow border using the exclusive *Directions* stamp. It gave me that same sense of detail and texture, but with a slightly more playful and graphic edge.

I continued with the stamp set to create a large chevron design, which I fussy cut and used as a template. From there, I cut coordinating pieces from patterned papers and positioned them at the top and bottom of the layout. To bring back some texture, I hand stitched around these sections, adding a subtle, handmade touch.

For the centre, I used the *This Way* arrow stencil from Arden Creative Studio to build up a layered background. This really helped draw the eye inward and tied in beautifully with the directional theme running throughout the page.

I created two photo clusters—one at the top right and one at the bottom left—to balance the layout. Around these, I added a mix of stickers, frames, tags, and wood embellishments to build dimension and interest.

To finish, I used a wood word piece for my title, pairing it with an acrylic accent for a modern contrast. Altogether, this layout feels like a true reflection of a weekend well spent—full of movement, memories, and meaningful details.
