Let’s Go Anywhere by Echo Park | Jackie Ashton
Hi crafters, hope you are all enjoying the lovely warm weather and had a fab bank holiday. I’m here with 2 layouts using Echo Park – Let’s Go Anywhere collection. I just love a travel collection, and this one is so different to all the others. It concentrates on red, brown and black tones which is really unusual for the travel range.
I recently went to the Lake District for a weekend getaway with my best friends. We hadn’t seen each over properly for well over 18 months, so it was just great to finally met up and spend some quality time with them.
I started the layout by cutting passport plaid paper in half and used the b-side as my base and adhered it to the centre of my white cardstock. Then I added 8.5 x 6 Wanderlust paper again using the b-side of the paper, as I just love those arrows.
Once these pieces were adhered to my page, I added various bits from the ephemera pack, chipboard, frames & tag dies cuts, adhesive brads.
The title is from 12×12 Element Sticker sheet.
For my 2nd layout, I used a few selfies taking at different areas around the Lake.
Starting by using 6×12 inches of the b-side of Pack You Bag paper, and adding it to the centre of my cardstock.
I arranged 3 photographs at different angles across my page, and add a tag from the multi journalling card paper.
I added embellishments around the page, using chipboard, stickers, puffy stickers and brads.
The title which I backed with patterned paper from the 6×6 pad, came from the ephemera pack.
This travel collection it is something completely different to what is normally on the market. Its was great to step out of my comfort zone and trying to use papers that I wouldn’t instantly purchase.
Don’t forget to share your layouts over on our Facebook Group we would love to see them.
Till next time,
