Let's Celebrate with Birthday Wishes by Pebbles

Hello everyone, how are you all keeping, now that the festive season is over, and we are now half way through the first month of 2015, I hope well and back to normal and getting on with scrapping at least a few of the many photos you have taken over  the holidays.  This month my layouts are all about celebrating birthdays, using the lovely collection by Pebbles called ‘Birthday Wishes”  December is not only a busy month with the festivities but it is also my birthday as well as my son’s.  This birthday was a big one, I turned 50 so I planned to celebrate thoughout the month and into 2015, with this in mind I had several gathering with friends, all that needs documenting.
So first up is ‘Good Times’ a very quick and easy layout, my best friends came down from Preston and we went for a lovely meal, at MPW restaurant that overlooks Birmingham.  I used a strip of Birthday Wishes – Happy Birthday, down the centre of the card stock and layered a 4×4 photo on top of  Birthday Wishes – Sprinkles – using both sides, then for the accents I cut this sheet, called Celebration.    Then I added some enamel dots from Studio Calico and some ink splats, not forgetting a Hey Little Magpie Flair badge.

This month I also used the stamp set from Studio L2E – called Crazy Awesome Life, here I’ve stamped it onto cork and cut it out.

For my 2nd layout I used this Birthday Wishes – Speciality Banner Paper, this is a 12 x 12 sheet that can be cut apart and strung together to make a banner – but I decided that I like how it looked as a 12×12 sheets, so I used it as it was.  Adding 3 small photos to the blank banners.  Again another easy and quick layout.

Again I used the stamp set from Studio L2E – this time I stamped on card stock with gold ink.

I added some wood veneer from Gossmer Blue, as well as some enamel dots from my stash.

For my final layout this month, I used a photo of James on his birthday last year.  I used Birthday Wishes – Happy Birthday paper and the Sprinkler paper, and some of the cut out elements from Birthday Wishes – Celebration   The title was done on my cameo.

I also added some vellum elements from Crate Paper – Maggie Holmes – Open Book, which were on my desk, and worked well with this collection.

I used the Studio L2E stamp set directly onto the layout, and well as a Hey Little Magpie flair badge.

Thats all from me for this month, apologies for the low light of my layouts due to the daylight at this time of year.

Happy Scrapping
