Just saying’ Snapshots | Julie Taylor

Hello Magpies & welcome back to the blog.

Julie here with you today & I’m using a new collection from Spellbinders & Kelly Bangs called Just Sayin’. It’s a fab collection of bright colours, fab die cuts & stamps & dies, so lots to choose from.

I started on white cardstock & added some stencilling & stamping, over on the right & some stencilling on the lower left.

I tore a piece of patterned paper, cut a strip of the stripped paper & punched a scalloped piece & layered these all together adding in some trim from the April Embellishment Kit & also some from my stash.

I backed my photos with some of the patterned papers & layered them up at the bottom of the vertical strip adding in a die cut film reel, tag, canvas flair & the title which came from the chipboard & a stamp & cut Snapshots piece which I embossed.

In this collection there are lots of speech bubbles so I added a cluster of those top left, over lapping them & adding in some word bits.

This was also a great place to add in a couple of clouds from the April Embellishment Kit & to finish off the layout a sprinkle of sequins, also from the Embellishment Kit.
