Just my Type – Set with Basic Grey.

Hi there Ladies, Sheena here again.
Today i’m sharing 3 layouts i’ve made using the Basic Grey range Type Set. It’s no secret that I am a long time fan of their papers but if I had  1 wish it would be that I would really like them to produce ephemera for all their ranges. I used both the 12 x12 collection pack & the 6×6 pad on these pages plus chipboard & flair from the range.

For the chevron detail I’ve used patterned 6×6 papers from the pad, cut into 2×3 inch strips which I’ve then mitred  before machine stitching them in place with co ordinating thread. All the 6×6 papers are single sided so I’ve bent the edges up a little as the backs are all white.

I used one of the wood veneers as my title & gave it a bit of a makeover using washi tape and embossing powder.

After embossing half I added a lick of paint to the rest of the veneer before adding to my page.

When I saw the typewriter paper I decided to feature my own on this page.

I used the paper from the journalling card typewriter to actually put through my typewriter to hold my journalling & attached it to the chipboard typewriter.

my title is made up of a chipboard word & lots of letters off the alpha sticker sheet. I used a stamp & a mask to add letters and numbers to the background.

There are lots of lovely patterns in this Type Set range and to showcase some I cut some of them on the diagonal & stitched them into place.

Then I layered up my photo with some of the journalling cards & embellished with chipboard pieces, wood veneer & stickers.

I’d really recommend this Type Set range by Basic Grey as it’s so versatile and easy to use.
