Just Good Vibes here!

Hey Magpies, welcome to February! Rache here and just like last month, I used the amazing Crate Paper, Good Vibes collection this month. I loved working with it so much for January, I chose to top up my supplies and carry on using it for Febraury! I love it that much. It’s an awesome collection and I will be hoarding my leftovers for years!
My first LO uses little rectangles of scrap paper that was on my desk. I actually started another LO that I didn’t end up using but I made a patchwork background of bits of diecuts and scraps to make a background. Then I couldn’t find the right photo that worked on it, so I set it aside. But doing the patchwork made me think of doing this background with more structure to it. Then I dotted around some embellishments.

I absolutely loved the Pom Pom Frames in this collection and I ended up stocking up on Pom Pom trim and making my own! This one here, I made myself with some gold glitter paper and the back layer of the frame is chipboard from packaging. It was a little bit fiddly to make I won’t lie, I used Glossy Accents to stick the trim around the edge and then sandwich the gold glitter paper on top. Then I had to sit there doing the Glossy Accents hold for it to dry lol!
I made my own background for this LO. I was kinda channeling myself again and the minimal LO’s I did with some large wedding photos and Crate Paper, Notes & Things. I wanted to go a bit minimal here and made the photo and embellishments shine. I made my own background of embossed stars with embossing paste and a stencil on some tracing paper. Then some washi tape, Nuvo Drops and a few embellishments completed things.

Ok, this next LO, I was just desperate to use the llama from the 12×12 Chipboard Accents sheet and use the title, drama llamas! I pfaffed about forever but finally finished this LO. The couple in the photo, well, there was always drama when they were around. It was a bit too much when they were arguing at a wedding and making things all about them. There’s always someone like that eh! So lots of Nuvo Drops on this one, I tried to match the colours of the garland on the llama and I do love this Maggie Holmes, Corousel paper as a border, it is quite dramatic and funky.

So yeah, the pom pom trim, I kinda went all out on here! I loved the pom pom frames so I went one step further and did a massive pom pom border on this LO. Again, I used Glossy Accents to stick the trim around the edge of my white cradstock. Then I used strips of paper in the background, and 2 of the actual pom pom frames. They’re so fun aren’t they!

My final LO, well, it’s not a LO at all! You will also see this later on, on the FB group as I am setting the February challenge to use something weird or odd on your LO. For our anniversary last year my partner got me one of those massive heart shaped chocolate boxes. I’d always wanted one of those boxes of chocolates so I didn’t want to just throw it away when we’d eaten all the delicious chocolates. So I painted it and decorated it for my wall! I used papers from the collection and then dug into my diecuts and used those as well as one of my favourite black & white striped bows from Maggie Holmes, Carousel. My epic title uses the massive rose gold alpha from Dear Lizzy, Star Gazer but it didn’t work for me rose gold, so I painted it yellow. So if you want to be in to win 1000 Magpie Points to spend in the store, check out the FB Group and my challenge will be up later on today.

I hope you all check out the wonderful Good Vibes Collection because it’s so versatile and lush! Also, keep an eye on the shop as there will be all sorts of new products arriving soon, how exciting!
