Just a Little lovely part 2 | Giselle Homer
Hi Magpies,
I’m back with more of Pinkfresh Studio’s Just a Little Lovely. There’s so much in this collection, I still have plenty left for a few more layouts. My first page uses two sheets of the same patterned paper. I liked this design so much but wondered how best to use it as it has quite a busy background.

I had an idea to fussy cut some of the patterns and layer them over the corresponding part of the base page using foam dots.
So, I chose to cut out some of the lower part of the paper and I really like the way it’s turned out so I’ll probably try this idea on other layouts.

I used a number of pieces of patterned paper to back the photo as I wanted it to stand out against the background. And I added a phrase sticker at the top.

I used the gold acetate flowers to embellish it because the darker colour acetates were too strong for the overall feel of the layout.

I used both alphabets to make my title and added more phrase stickers below that.

I placed a puffy sticker to the left of the photo, then added some of my favourite and much loved enamel dots to add the finishing touch!
My second layout uses a cut file which was too lovely to resist and I think it suits my photo perfectly!

I back filled the cut file in plain pale green paper to make it stand out from the flowery background. And added patterned hearts to the cut file hearts.

I backed the photo with two plain cardstock pieces and added a little tab at the top.

I added the name using the small puffy alphabet and underlined it with a puffy arrow, plus a few chipboard flowers for extra dimension.

Then I added a few phrase stickers below the name with some more chipboard flowers.
If you’re looking for a collection filled with prettiness, this is the one for you. I’ve enjoyed the more delicate, feminine designs which made a change to my usual boy centred layouts!
Until next month, happy scrapping everyone,
