July 2019 Monthly Challenge | Travel Theme

Travel Theme Challenge set by Jo Boland

Hi Magpies, Jo here today and it’s my turn to set our monthly challenge. I’ve chosen to have a travel themed challenge. I’m adding a little twist by asking you to include some things on your layout;

• a map or globe, this can be any size from patterned paper map like on my layout or a nod to a map, like the New Zealand outline on the tag used on Rachel’s layout below.
• a plane
• an arrow
• and just one photo.

I’ve used the Carta Bella collection Let’s Travel on my layout, including the fabulous Travel Map paper as my background. The layout features my favourite building in Barcelona, Casa Batllo and my wish to return to Barcelona soon.

My fellow design team mate Rachel has made an example layout for my challenge, which you can see below.

To play along with this challenge, simply create a layout or project using challenge criteria. Then head on over to Hey Little Magpie Papercraft and Scrapbooking chat & inspiration group to show us your creation. Make sure you get your entry in by midnight on 31st July to be counted. We will draw a winner at random who will receive 1000 magpie points, worth £10. The points will be added to the winners Hey Little Magpie account ready for spending!
