It's Still All Good | Niki Rowland

Hey everyone, Niki here again today with two more layouts to share using the Dear Lizzy It’s All Good Collection. I love the pastel shades of this collection with it’s pretty motifs and it has been perfect for documenting my summery photos.

The products I had from the It’s All Good Collection were: 12×12 papers, the 12×12 speciality foiled vellum, Cardstock Stickers, Die Cut Ephemera, Gold Puffy Alpha Thickers, Layered Stickers, Mini Puffy Alpha Stickers, Hashtag Shaped Paper Clips and the Phrase and Icon Chipboard Thickers.

For my first layout ‘You Rock’ I started off by creating a mixed media background using paints. I matched the colours to the colours in the It’s All Good Collection. I used the packaging technique to apply the paint to the background and then added splatters all over it.

I distressed the edges of my layout and added some of the beautiful striped paper down the sides.

I added paper layers nder my photos as well as lots of embellishments. The photos are of my daughter performing ‘Annie’ so the little tickets in this collection went perfectly.

I used a black acrylic title ‘You Rock’ for my main title, becuase it went so well, plus the musical notes that it came with.. I also added a longer title ‘the sun will come out tomorrow’ becuase that’s the main song from Annie and the one I had to listen to being practiced for weeks and weeks!!

For my second layout today, ‘Don’t Look Back’, I used a paper strip and lots of bits from the cut apart sheets to create my horizontal cluster. These photos are from school Sports Day, and I really liked the ‘Don’t Look Back’ title that was on the Chipboard Phrase and Icon Thickers from the It’s All Good Collection.

I used lots of ephemera and stickers to embellish this layout. I love the teeny gold hearts that are on the Chipboard Icon & Phrase Thickers. I’ve also added in a hashtag shaped paperclip and gold thread and sequins from my stash.

I love all the lemons, peaches and strawberries in this collection -they are so summery! And they totally look good enough to eat.
