It's Spooky Boo Time!

Hi Magpies, I hope you are all having a good October and have been finding some time to do some crafting.
This month I have 3 layouts to share with you, and I am using the Pebbles Spooky Boo Halloween papers to create my pages.  There are some lovely collections in the shop with this theme and they work great together. These papers have the typical whimsical characters of the Pebbles ranges and they are so cute.
I have added these pages to my Disney 2017 album, which I am creating with all Halloween themed papers, this album is also an 8×8 album, so they are not as layered heavy as my 12×12 style.

The cut a part papers, ephemera and stickers all have wonderful phrases on, and I have used these for the titles on the pages.  This first page came together after I saw the card about treats, as we had some yummy sugar skull cookies at Disney and thought this would be perfect to scrap them.

I added some misting and stamping to the background to add some textures, I also used a white pen to add some faux stitching to the pages too.

For my second page I wanted to start by adding some texture to the background and used a selection of masks.  I used a navy ink through the stencil, which works great on the orange background, again I added mist.

I again wanted to add some more of the cute phrases that are in the collection. The ‘Boo to You’ makes a great title for this photo.  The puffy stickers in this collection are so cute, and I added a little spider hanging off the bottom cluster.

My finial page is a layout style that I have used on 12×12 pages, and I translated this to an 8×8 canvas.  This  does not create a 3rd of the page focus like a larger page, but I don’t want to make the photos in the album too small.

I again added faux stitching to this page and some pen work on the small squares, which I too from the 6×6 paper pad.  These are great for getting the designs of the larger papers in a small scale.  The 6×6 paper pad as has some of the designs glittered.
I really enjoyed using this collection and will be working with it to create more pages featuring these cute characters.
Have a wonderful month and if you celebrate Halloween I hope you get some great photos, and I will see you early next month with an update on how my memory planner for 2018 is coming together.
