Indigo Hills by Pinkfresh Studio
The very gorgeous new collection by Pinkfresh Studio is called ‘Indigo Hills’. It doesn’t have any particular theme to it and is a wonderful generic collection with blue and grey tones with hints of pink, mint and yellow. I am usually drawn to anything pink and girly so this make a nice change for me and has meant that some photos of my little boy eventually got scrapped 🙂
The collection consists of 12×12 papers (I got the paper pack which contained two of each sheet) a 6×6 paper pad, puffy stickers, cardstock die cuts, chipboard hearts, washi tape, stamps, alpha stickers, foiled wooden clips, Foiled words & icons stickers, Rubber Charm Stickers and Sticky Notes Pad. I didnt quite buy everything, but almost lol.
I started off simple with my first layout and simply built upon the pattern on one of the patterned papers and I also used some of the 6×6 sheets too. I used a cardstock die cut as my title and embellished with lots of embellishments.
For my second layout ‘Monkey Business’ I embraced the geometric shapes in one of the papers. I cut it all apart then put it all back together in a different configuration onto a plain background. I highlighted each shape by drawing around them with a journaling pen. I did the same around the letters.
For ‘Big. Bad. Wolf.’ I cut out a load of circles from one of the papers (including some little ones from the 6×6 design) and layered them onto a plain bacground. I added a couple of stitched circles too and a few of the embellishments.
for #allthethings I stitched a large cut file (The Cut Shoppe) straight onto that spotty background. It didn’t take as long as I thought actually and I clustered the rest of my layout in one place in order to show off that background.
For ‘Hello there Trouble’ I embraced the pattern already on the paper and used those blocks to house some heart embellishments. I highlighted a few of them with stitching. I backfilled the title with the same paper as the background but in the 6×6 design.
And finally, you may have seen this layout already as I have already shared it on the Hey Little Magpie Chat and Inspiration Facebook group (for Jackie’s challenge), but I had to add this layout here too as it also uses the Indigo Hills collection. I’ve also used a few embellishments and washi tape from the latest Freckled Fawn embellishment kit and some Heidi Swapp silver texture paste. The quote is a Winnie the Pooh quote and sums up how I feel about my baby boy perfectly (sometimes lol)
I hope you have enjoyed seeing the Indigo Hills collection by Pinkfresh Studio, I absolutely loved working with it.
