In The Countryside – 49 & Market – Birdsong Collection – Wendy Meffan

Hi Everyone! Here is my third layout for March and I am using 49 and Market Birdsong Collection. I am loving the beautiful colours in this collection and the combination of both pastel and darker shades.

I am a great lover of patterned 12×12 papers but sometimes struggle to know how to use them! I particularly liked the Cheerful Chatter  12×12 paper with all the birds and leaves, and was desperate to use it as my background! I placed a large piece of ephemera as the background for my three photos. I then chose to embellish each photo in turn using elements from the ephemera and the Wildflower laser cuts. I love how well it works to tuck frames and tickets behind creating a lovely layered effect. I also used the Wishing Bubbles for extra dimension.

I loved all the little birds in the Wildflower laser cuts which complimented the birds on the 12×12 background paper.

I raised some of the photos and pieces of ephemera on sticky fixers again to give extr dimension across the layout.

I the journaled on the layout at the bottom of the photos.
