I Am Grateful | Morag Cutts | Simple Stories
Hi friends. I have another layout using the fabulous I Am collection by Simple Stories. Scrapping myself isn’t something I do that often but it is something that I should do more. This collection really helps with its great stickers which act as prompts and of course the lush papers.
To make my background more interesting, I added a lace-up feature. I used my trimmer to cut parts of the I Am Fierce paper which I could curl and tear before backing the gaps in the patterned paper.
I set eyelets evenly down each side of the cut line – I’m sure we all have eyelets gathering dust somewhere – mine must be 10 years old! I then laced twine through the eyelets before fastening off with a bow and tassel.
The 6×8″ paper pad – is fabulous for layering and matting. I stitched the photo mats and also the hand cut banners. They add great detail and polish. The 4×6 Sticker Book has 12 pages of stickers! I love the variety in this book – you’ll be able to use them with so many different collections.
For a little more interest, I stretched twine down the left hand side and added a sticker over the top – I think this gives the page a bit of balance. Finally, I added my title from the Foam Stickers which are a beautiful foil gold. Again, there are lots of titles and elements in this pack.
I hope that I have encouraged you to scrap yourself! It’s not the easiest thing to do but it is important. Thanks for stopping by.
