Hey Magpies! It’s Wendy here on the blog again sharing two more LO using Paige Evans Go the Scenic Route Collection. For my first LO I used a silhouette cut file of the Map of the USA and then back filled it with all the stamps which I had fussy cut from Paper No 3 . I arranged them in a rainbow sequence across the map.

I then backed my photos from the 6×8 paper pad and then added some clusters in the same colour scheme around them from the floral ephemera pack.

I used elements from the floral ephemera pack, along with the fussy cut tickets and chipboard.

I also used some of the leftover cut out tickets from Paper 17   . I complimented these with some dimension using the chipboard sticker sheet.

I added another little cluster of fussy cut pieces over the photo and then added the title using some older mini thickers from Paige Evans

I was very pleased with how this turned out. It did take a long time however to cut out a whole page of the stamps!

I was due to go to Paris to the Scrapbooking show this year and was so excited about it, I had my Eurostar ticket and the show ticket and a hotel booked but sadly all cancelled from Covid. When I saw the Periphique map in the collection I knew immediately what I would be scrapping on it although I wasn’t sure how!

I have used some older Bramble Fox perspextives which have been in my stash for a while but they were perfect for this LO. I matted my photos using papers from the 6×8 paper pad and then distressed the edges. I decided to arrange them centrally but lower on the page to allow for the large title at the top.

I fussy cut elements from the 12×12 Paper No 6 and also added some chipboard elements from the chipboard sticker sheet to make clusters around the photos.

I fussy cut  some flowers and butterflies which I placed around the main title and near the Eiffel Tower. Again I used some older mini thickers by Paige Evans to a small second title underneath the photos.

This LO conveys all I wanted to document about not getting to Paris!…  and all the coordinating elements were perfect for it.

This collection majors on many different countries in its design which is fabulous as many of us have missed travel opportunities this year,  have travel dreams and also have friends abroad which we may wish to document about.

I hope this has given you inspiration and I look forward to seeing your LO. Don’t forget to post them in the HLM Facebook page.

Happy scrapping …. till next time!
