Hi Jackie here with my first project for December using Pink Fresh Studio – Holiday Dreams collection

I recently visited Blenheim Palace to see their wonderful Christmas at Blenheim Palace and “Sleeping Beauty” was this years theme and decided that I wanted to document our day using a 4×4 mini album from my stash.

I wanted to create various size pages, as well as use the 4×4 page protectors that came with my album, so using patterned papers I added several flip out, flip up and folded pages.

Starting on the inside cover of my album I measured some white cardstock to fit, added some stencil detail and fuzzy cut a row of houses from patterned paper, added them to the bottom of the cardstock and added some machine stitching around the edges.

The opening page, I added some sequins from my stash to a page protector and machine stitched it closed. On the from I added the title using Puffy Alphabet Stickers

I’ve kept my pages simple in design – added a photograph and a few embellishments. On this page I machine stitched some pom pom trim to the edge of the page protector to give it some added texture.

I added some journalling to a flip out page.

Flip up – Cut from patterned papers and added a tab punch so that it can easily be lifted to reveal a photo of us in the same corridor.

Pull out – Tis the Season

Using white cardstock at 12” x 4 “ – I measured and folded back and cut the 1” from the right hand side.

Reverse

Adding pieces of patterned papers and a cut apart to the front cover, before adding my photographs and embellishments.

6” x 4” flip out

This time I used a 6×4 photograph to cover the patterned papers, and measured and folded the right hand side, adding a Wood Accent Sticker to the front.
