HLM NSD2021 – Challenge 6 – Tic Tac Toe | Jo Boland

Hey there, it’s Jo here with Challenge 6 for NSD2021 and it’s a Tic Tac Toe! You’ll see a grid below and like the game Tic Tac Toe or Noughts and Crosses. All you need to do is cross a line through three of them, either across, down or through one of the diagonals that run through the centre. To do this you must use those three items on your layout and write which three you used in your comment when you upload your layout. You can of course use more items than just the three you cross.

Here’s my layout – I used a border punch, kraft cardstock and old stash. This is the middle row of the grid.

The old stash I used was the patterned paper by a company called Daisy D’s which is no longer in existence. Anyone remember them? The collection which this paper came from was ‘Wonder Years’ and it came out in 2008! The strip of paper I used the border punch on is actually the reverse side of the paper. The kraft cardstock is also old stash from the Amy Tangerine ‘Ready Set Go’ collection from 2012.

The chipboard piece, stickers and the enamel dots are all from the current Echo Park collection ‘A Slice of Summer’. I’ll be using this collection for my May DT projects here on the blog. The thickers are from my stash.
