HLM NSD 2021 – Challenge 8 – Moodboard | Amy Kattenbelt
Good Morning and Happy Sunday Magpies,
Amy here bringing you another scrapbook challenge to celebrate National Scrapbook Day. This time I have created a mood board.
Simply create a layout that is inspired by the images and colours in the mood board.
I hope you will feel inspired, I know some people can struggle using moodboards but there are really plenty of options to pick from. You don’t have to use all the images, you could just pick one of the elements, for example the butterfly or ice cream and create a layout around that theme. You could also be inspired by the blue and yellow colour scheme and use that as the beginning point of your layout.
I took inspiration from the colour scheme, and also the butterfly, lemons, sunflowers, dandelions and blue woodgrain. I also was inspired by the mood board to scrap a beach layout. The stack of pebbles in the top-right photo inspired by overlapping circle design on my layout.
The supplies I used for my layout include the following items…
Blue Woodgrain Paper – Heidi Swapp – Care Free – “High Tide” Patterned Paper
Paper behind my photo – Vicki Boutin – Color Study – 6×8 Patterned Paper Pad
