HIGH FIVE! – JEN HADFIELD – THE AVENUE – WENDY MEFFAN

Hey Magpies! It’s Wendy here on the blog again, where did the Summer go? I can’t believe we’re into September and slowly returning back to some sort of normal. This month I have chosen Jen Hadfield The Avenue Collection.

I started with white card stock and added half a sheet of the 12×12 Aster Ave paper, this is perfect for a boys LO,then I fussy cut lots of dogs from the 12×12 Puppy Park paper from the collection.

I matted the photos with other papers from the collection and then punched a couple of coordinating hearts

 

I added a few splatters of blue water colour and added my journalling.  I added the title in some gold thickers from my stash.

LAYOUT 2   GLAMPING GIRLS

I started this LO with some mixed media in the background in a coordinating colour to the papers. I matted the photo on several layers as the main focus.

 

I also added a few Bramble Fox heart perspextives. Then I used a round doily die and cut some circles which I added around the corners.

I added some gold hearts and floral leaves from the sticker sheet.

Finally I used gold thickers for the title which matched some of the gold embellishments and a floral ephemera cluster.

I then machine sewed around the top and  right side of the LO.

This is a beautiful collection which lends itself perfectly to outside photos.
