Hi Jackie here, here’s something extra special about creating a layout that celebrates the people who mean the most to us — and this one was such a joy to put together.
For this page, I’ve used the beautiful 49 & Market Birdsong collection alongside the gorgeous Hey Little Magpie March 2026 Embellishment Kit, and I couldn’t love the combination more.
I started with a 4×4 printed photograph and backed it with one of the patterned papers from the Birdsong collection. The soft tones and delicate details in these papers are just stunning — they create the perfect backdrop without overwhelming the photo. To help my image stand out, I added 3D foam underneath, giving it that subtle lift and dimension that really brings a layout to life.
From the March Embellishment kit, I layered in several of the lovely embellishments. The textures in this month’s selection are gorgeous! I added some of the fabric floral embellishments to soften the page and tucked in a few of the acrylic hearts for a little extra shine.
One of my favourite details is the small fabric loop at the top left of my photo — it adds just the right touch of movement and interest, along side the fabric flair badge.
The standout piece for me has to be the wood title, “So Lucky.” It perfectly sums up how I feel about my son.
Every time I look at this page — I truly am so lucky to be his mum.
