Hey Hello | Julie Taylor
Hi Magpies, Julie back with you again today sharing 2 layouts made with the lovely new collection, Hey Hello by Jen Hadfield from Pebbles.
This is a fabulous collection covering many celebrations, birthday, friends, thank-you’s, even sympathy & is packed full of bright colours, cute critters & endless floral papers to fussy cut.
In the Moment
For my first page I went with the gorgeous floral Bee Blossoms Paper & folded over the top corner to show the lovely mustard yellow of the B side. I backed the gap with the text side of Girlfriend sentiments paper & that gave me a great place to add an abundance of fussy cut florals, using lots of foam pads to give dimension.
I secured the paper down with a sewn button & tucked my photo under the fold & trailed more fussy cut florals, die cuts & embellishments, along with twine & tassels.
I finished at the bottom with another tag & more florals & embellishments.
My title is one of the Puffy Phrase Stickers from Pinkfresh Studio My Favorite Story.
Miss You
My second layout is about my lovely Mom, whom I miss very much. this is a lovely collection to scrap about passed ones as it has some lovely sayings & this one at the bottom of my page was just perfect.
I added 2 cut pieces, at the top, which I sewed into place. I added a bit of paint, texture paste & splatters & set to work building my photo & embellishment cluster.
I again fussy cut lots of flowers & made another cluster at the bottom.
My title was using some alphas from my stash, as I needed it to be small.
I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing how I’ve used this lovely collection & will take a look at it in store, you’ll find sometime you like, I’m sure!!!
until next time,
