Hello Spring, Simple Stories Tea Garden | Julie Taylor

Hello Magpies & welcome back to the blog.

Julie here with you today & I’m sharing a layout using the lovely spring collection Tea Garden from Simple Stories. It’s full a bright colours, great florals & cute critters & gnomes. I’ve also added in some bits out the March embellishment kit.

I started my page on an older 49 and Market sheet of paper which had some subtle text & stitching elements already on it & I added a bit more text stamping in a few areas, using Bundled Sage Oxide ink. Using a sheet of patterned paper, from the 6×8 paper pad, I distressed the edges & backed it with another patterned paper & added this just off centre & towards the bottom & added a die cut scalloped piece below. I cut apart 2 tags, from the Tag Elements paper, cut them slightly down, distressed the edges & added to the top of the 6×8 piece & tied them together with some twine out the March Embellishment Kit.

I added a few labels, over on the left & added an embellishment cluster using florals, die cut long stemmed flowers, foam sticker title & a fabric heart.

I placed my 2 photos on the bottom right & added more clusters around those.

I added a flair & a sprinkle of sequins out the March Embellishment Kit.

Thanks for joining me today.

Until next time,
