Hello December | Julie Taylor
Today I’m sharing a festive scrapbook page created with the Pretty Little Studio – Candy Cane Collection, and I couldn’t love this playful, sweet palette more for holiday documenting.

I started with the Jingle paper as my background. To add movement and interest, I tore off the top two to three inches, trimmed away the original design, and reattached it along the bottom edge. Before adhering it back down, I flipped the design so it ran vertically instead of horizontally, instantly giving the page a fresh perspective. To strengthen the torn edge and bring in more colour, I backed it with Stick Candy paper and a small strip of Green Apple Lollipop paper peeking through.

Into that torn edge, I tucked in a delicate doily along with some fussy-cut scallops from the Fruitcake paper. These soft, layered details add texture and a whimsical feel that fits the collection perfectly. My two photos are placed vertically, close to the torn edge and over to the left, helping anchor the design while keeping everything visually connected.

From there, I embellished with pieces from the Merry Mix die cut pack and the Floral die cut pack, sprinkling them around the photos for balance and dimension. I couldn’t resist including one of the adorable reindeer—he’s definitely the star of the page! I finished him off with a red shiny enamel dot for his nose, giving him that classic Rudolph charm.

For the title, I chose one of the acrylic words, Hello December, and the colour match with this collection is absolutely perfect. This page feels joyful, layered, and full of holiday cheer—just how Christmas memories should be documented.

Thanks for joining me today & if you haven’t seen this collection go & check it out. It’s really cute & playful.
Until next time,
