Heidi Swapp – Winter Wonderland

Hi Magpies, Jackie here sharing 2  Christmas layouts using  the lovely Winter collection from Heidi Swapp – Winter Wonderland.

Christmas Kisses

Both James and I have December birthdays, so it as become a tradition that we have a mini photo shoot together to document this, and of course it also includes a selfie or two.

 

I added some patterned papers behind my photograph, as well as the wood effect frame from the ephemera pack.

The tags  are from the Heidi Swapp – Winter Wonderland – Merry & Bright paper.

I also used the stamps from this collection.

For the title I mixed two alphabets – the one from this collection here and some Pink Fresh Studio mini puffy alphas .

Oh Deer !

We always go on a New Years Day walk and whilst out we caught the sight of some deers crossing the river near Chatsworth.  I was able to get a few photographs before the deers disappeared into the woods.  So the photographs are not the best but they do capture the amazing moment.

 

Using the b-side of  the Heidi Swapp – Winter Wonderland – Fresh Pine paper – I added a piece down one side and the b-side of the Heidi Swapp – Winter Wonderland – Woodland Wonderland paper, which I added across my page.

I backed the three photographs with various patterned papers and finished the layouts using die cuts from the ephemera pack.

To add extra details I punched some tree shapes from the b-side of the  Heidi Swapp – Winter Wonderland – Woodland paper and added them to clusters around the page.

 

Even though this collection is the basic Christmas colours of red and green, with the tones being muted, they give a complete different look and feel to my pages.
