Heidi Swapp – Set Sail | Part Three | Amy Kattenbelt

Hello Magpies, Amy here again today to share my last 2 layouts using the “Set Sail” collection by Heidi Swapp.

My first layout today is a classic grid design, using the 3×4 cut apart paper. I selected 5 of the cut-aparts, and used my 3×4 photo to fill the 6th space.

I added the reverse of the cut off branding stripe to the top of the layout. To the bottom of the layout I added a fussy cut knot length from the same paper.  I like to add this top and bottom border to this kind of design.

I then had fun decorating the grid design with ephemera, stickers and cutouts from the Hey Little Magpie Printable sheet.

I added my title using two different alphabet stickers on to one of the plainer cut-apart sections.

I created this 4th layout using the packaging sheet from the Thickers that come with the collection. It was so pretty to not use, and it was the perfect match to my photo.

I matted it in onto one of the navy patterned papers to make it stand out against my white background. I then matted my photo 3 times for the same reason. I used of the ephemera and fussy cut boats to the layout.

I added my title in a large mixture of different fonts to create an interesting look. I finished the layout by adding the seagull stickers which I absolutely love!

I hope you like these two layouts. I will be back next month with some new creations. In the meantime, Take Care,
