Heidi Swapp Memory Planner – Documenting 2018

Hi All, I hope you are all in the warm, and have not been too disrupted by the snow that has hit Britain.  I know the posties all carrying the HLM pizza boxes have been doing their best battling the adverse conditions.
This month I am going to share with you how I am documenting my 2018 memories, using the Heidi Swapp Fresh Start Memory Planner.  I had a change in circumstances last year which made me realised I can not continue with 12×12 for everyday documenting at the moment, as I don’t have  the storage space.  I was looking in the shop for option, and when I saw the new very sparkly planners in, I knew this was something that was appealing to me.

What I like about these planners is that it has been designed with the purpose of everyday memory keeping, but also it works so well with all the beautiful  planner supplies that are out their.  I decided that I would pick up a couple of the AC sticker books and also pull out my stash of the beautiful MAMBI Happy Planner supplies.  I also have a myriad of sticker books and die cuts left over from previous collections so thought it would be a great project to use up these older half uses supplies.

I must first comment on how the glitter on this planner is so sparkly, but it is coated so it will not shed.  The rings inside are nice and large and will easily hold the thickness that will be created on the pages.  the divider pages and the dashboard at the front feature gold foiling and the pockets at the front are great for storing little mementos too.
I am sharing my pages for January 2018 with you below.  I have used some water colour on the pages and they have taken this well with little to no buckling.  I also have stamped used Archival ink using the Heidi Swapp Planner stamps and this has not bled through the paper.  The pen I used for my journalling is a pen from the great selection from the shop, their is again little to no bleeding through the paper.

I have also purchased a StoryBook Set which is designed to fit in the planner, this includes 3 books, that are pre-punched to fit.  I am going to use these to document a couple of trip I have planned this year, so these will be part of this album too.
I have really enjoyed documenting this way and it is taking me back to the Project Life documenting I did for 3 years, but in a much more compact format.  I will be sharing a few more pages from this album in the coming months and I hope I can inspire you to try different ways of documenting your story.
See you all next month.
