Happy Place – 49 & Market Vintage Artistry – Sunburst – Wendy Meffan

Hi Everyone! it’s Wendy here sharing my first layout for December and this month I am using 49& Market Vintage Artistry Sunburst Collection. I have decided I am much more of a Summer person than a Winter person so thought I would scrap some Summer pictures through these cold days. The Sunburst Collection is so bright and colourful and perfect for bright Summer photos.

I really loved the 12×12 Azure Seaside paper and was determined to use it on my layout so tearing off a large strip seemed like a good option! This gave me a start point to then create my layout out from the side. I added the footer strip and then some pompom trim along side creating a nice edge. Having placed a few pieces on the white card stock I removed it all and added some mixed media using distress oxides. I then placed the large map card from the Ephemera Bits down over the top as a photo map. After this I attached my photo and started to embellish around it using the Tropical Foliage Laser Cuts.

I then added further embellishments from the Chipboard Set and Ephemera Bits. I incorporated one of the words at the title for the layout.

I then added a small cluster of embellishments at the top of the map card.

This Collection has beautiful laser cut embellishments and so much ephemera it will last a long time! do check it out over on the website if you’ve not considered it.

i hope you’ll feel inspired to scrap those Summer photos even if it’s a bit out of season.
