HAPPY BIRTHDAY! – AMY TANGERINE – PICNIC IN THE PARK -WENDY MEFFAN

Hey there Magpies ! Its Wendy back on the blog sharing my final layout using the gorgeous Amy Tangerine Collection Picnic in the Park and again using a completely different colour combination. A bright yellow LO was perfect for the photos on the occasion of my husband’s birthday on Australia Day in sunny Australia !

I had already used most of this collection so ended with this monochrome layout with yellow due to the embellishments that were left but they actually worked so well with our colours on the photos! I gutted the 12×12 Feel the Love sheet and made the border I then added white card stock and attached the photos.

I added embellishments around the photos from the  phrase and accent stickers, enamel dots, and die cut ephemera.

I also used some of the remaining stickers from the sticker book

 

I used a some mini word/phrase stamps and added to the LO where I felt there was too much white space. This LO was very quick and easy to create and focussed on the photos which was my main aim as I was documenting such a specific occasion.

I then used a fine line black pen to edge the LO.
