Happy Birthday 3 | Julie Taylor

Hi Magpies, Julie back with you today sharing another layout using the Hey Hello collection by Jen Hadfield from Pebbles. This time I’ve gone with a birthday layout. This collection is perfect for any age of birthday as it has loads of styles & patterns to chose from.

I chose to work on a black background, for this layout, I love how it makes all the colours pop & adds a different look in your albums. I sewed it onto happy day paper to make it stand out more.

I first stencilled some number 3’s, to look like they were tumbling down the page & outlined them with a white gel pen & added plenty of splatters.

I made a paper stack, out of papers from the 6×8 paper pad & added them at the bottom left with a few tags cut from the birthday sentiments paper.

I wrapped some coloured twine, through the tags & fussy cut that gorgeous zebra & added a pompom to his party hat!!

Some cupcake ephemera & sequins sprinkled up the page added the finishing touches & gave it the party vibe.
