Happiness | Pebbles Fun In The Sun | Emma Kate

Hello Magpies, it’s time for my second layout of the month using the beautiful Fun In The Sun collection from pebbles, just perfect for documenting those holiday moments. My page began layering squares of patterned paper, distressing the edges of each layer to add more texture to my page.

The top square on each layered piece I created by folding each corner into the centre of that square, this is where you see the triangles form. Then instead of adhering each square so it runs parallel to the page edges, I turned each square 45 degrees so they take on a diamond shape.

Next I added my 3×4 photo slightly to the right of my layout, layered with more patterned paper from the collection. Then using the ephemera icons pack I began to frame my photo, I love how the palm tree hugs the photo edge.

To balance out the slightly right positioning of my photo I added a ephemera cluster to the left, creating the perfect little spot for my journalling to go. Then it was time to add my title ‘Happiness’ using the Puffy Thickers Phrases, the boldness of the font just makes my title pop!

To finish, you guessed it, a bit of sparkle in the form of sequins & gems. This collection is full of bold, bright colours & I cant help but smile when I see it.
