Good Things With Butterflies In A Scrapbook Layout

Hey Magpies, this layout is full of colour thanks to the beautiful ‘Take Note’ collection from Simple Stories. I started with the ‘Choose To Soar’ patterned paper & fussy cut the butterflies, I then layered & machined stitched through the centre of each butterfly in white thread.

Next I layered my 3×4 inch photo with patterned paper from the ‘6×8 Paper Pad’ & used a tag from the ‘Tag Elements’ patterned paper to balance my page. From here I used a combination of the ‘Floral Bits & Pieces Die Cuts’ & the butterflies I had layered & stitched to embellish my layout.

My ‘Good Things’ title came from the ’12×12 Cardstock Stickers’, it was a great way to connect my photo & journalling spot & further add to the composition of my layout by drawing your eye diagonally across the page. For the finishing touches I added ribbon to my tag & a sprinkle of gems & sequins.

I’m an absolute sucker for any collection that contains florals & butterflies, add to which the main colour palette is pinks & blues, it’s a no brainer for me, I would recommend the Take Note collection to everyone.
